It’s Auction & Barbecue time!
We are excited to share our plans for this year’s 37th annual event to benefit our organization. This year’s event will take place over the course of one week in October, encompassing three “mini” events, all to support the important work our organization is doing throughout our community.
Event #1: Drive-Thru Barbecue Dinner
When: Saturday, October 15
Where: Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Ave., Asheboro
What: A plate of amazing BBQ prepared by the Randolph County Livestock Association, also including pinto beans, cole slaw, hushpuppies and a dessert!
Time: Pick up and sales begin at 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. or until sold out
Purchase advanced tickets at both campuses beginning October 1.

Event #2: Online Auction
When: Opens Saturday, October 15 and closes at 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20.
What: Over 150 great items, gift baskets, furniture, accessories, gift certificates!
How: Visit www.hospiceorfrandolph.hibid.com. Create an account and then register for this year’s auction to receive notifications and to bid beginning on October 15th. Preview of items will be available by late September!
Event #3: Bid & Q
A play off the traditional Auction & Barbecue, this NEW in-person event, the Bid & Q, will be a special live auction and dinner. Each year, the organization receives donations of beautiful pieces of pottery from local potters in the Seagrove area. The new event format aims to showcase these valuable pieces of art and a few other special items, while engaging a targeted sector of the community as well as individuals who’ve been faithful in pledging generous financial support to our organization.

Where: The Mill, located behind The Table, 139 S. Church Street, Asheboro
