Over the past several months, our organization has been working diligently on an important caregiver initiative. We want to invite you to be a part of the future planning for this initiative. The commitment of a small amount of your time and thoughtful engagement in a brief discussion will help this important work move forward!
Caregiver: A Love Story is an impactful documentary created by film maker, Dr. Jessica Zitter, a palliative care doctor from Oakland, California. Our organization has partnered with Dr. Zitter to provide screening opportunities for our employees and volunteers during the week of September 13 – 17.
Attend a Screening
There will be 20 screening sessions available across both campuses with a couple of after-hours options. Click here to access the sign-up genius form for the screening opportunities.
Each session will include a viewing of the documentary (about 30 minutes) and a brief group discussion. Screenings are limited to 15 attendees, with a hope of capturing a variety of disciplines at each session. Screenings are slated for an hour and a half, but it is unlikely that the session will last the entire time.
In High Point, the sessions will be in the downstairs Conference Room, and in Asheboro, sessions are being held in the Education Building. Any team member is welcome to attend any viewing on either campus. If you have questions or if none of these options work for your schedule, please email Mary Leslie English – [email protected].
Be a Part of Something Big
This is going to be BIG. We encourage you to come to the screening session ready to actively participate. Your thoughts and insights will help lead us forward as seek to better empower and support our caregivers. Please make every effort to participate!
