At the All Staff Meeting on Wednesday, November 4, the Human Resources Department received a PULSE Award. The PULSE – Performing Unlimited Lasting Services with Excellence – award recognizes, celebrates and encourages our co-workers. Congratulations to Jennifer Duncan, Christie Hawkins and Mary Beth McAvoy for their dedicated service to our organization! Below are the sentiments shared with the nomination.
“Since the merger, these three employees have worked tirelessly to get the two branches aligned and to provide the best benefits possible. Because of the various needs, they have communicated together for the most efficient manner to accomplish this huge task. Here are just a few of the things they have accomplished together: 1) Set-up and instituted two payroll systems-assisted all of us through the People Guru dinosaur; 2) Developed and assisted leaders through two evaluation processes-Excel and Paychex Flex; 3) Jennifer has set-up multiple interviews for us at HHHP as we had staff retiring. 4) Anytime Laura, our staff or I have HR questions, we have received prompt attention. 5) Set up all the benefits information in PayChex and completed a COVID work-around.
Although all of these things are a normal part of HR, this group has assisted all staff as we have gone through multiple, MAJOR changes. They have worked tirelessly for the betterment of HOP/HRC employees and for this reason, I would like to nominate them as a TEAM for the pulse award.”
