At the All Staff Meeting on Wednesday, November 3, two team members received a PULSE Award. The PULSE – Performing Unlimited Lasting Services with Excellence – award recognizes, celebrates and encourages our co-workers. Congratulations to Maddie Peck and Sue Raso!
Nominee: Maddie Peck, RN Case Manager (Location: Randolph)
“I have had the pleasure to work with Maddie and I enjoy working with her. I recently helped her with a family that is Spanish speaking only and she was always so patient and respectful to this family. She was always so caring and made sure this family did not have any issues or concerns while gaining their trust. Coming from a Hispanic family, I know how hard it is to trust someone that does not speak your language. Along with also having so many other things going on she always puts her patients care first. She is a wonderful hospice nurse.”
Nominee: Sue Raso, Volunteer Coordinator (Location: High Point)
“I would like to recognize Sue Raso. Not only does she do an excellent job as the link between our agency’s volunteers and staff, but she is currently doing so as the volunteer coordinator for both campuses without missing a beat. She is organized, a great communicator and always willing to lend a hand to other team members to streamline their work flows and meet their needs. She seems to always be looking for new ways to involve volunteers, improve volunteer procedures, and unite the department across both campuses. She is hard working, has a great attitude, and makes the volunteers that serve our organization feel a part of the team. Good job, Sue, thanks for all you do!”
