The United Way of Greater High Point Campaign is now underway! If you weren’t able to be on the October All Staff Meeting call, a link to the recorded meeting can be found in Relias.
This employee campaign marks one of 4 opportunities throughout the year that we are asked to support our organization, or to support other organizations in our community that we believe in. Giving is not a requirement, but we are asked to self-reflect on the fortunate circumstances we have had as an organization and extend those generous considerations to others in our community to which you may be personally drawn.
This year we are making our pledges electronically!
On October 10, you received a personalized link to the online pledge site in an email from Mary Beth McAvoy. Because this link is personalized, we ask that you do not forward or share your link. If you need a new link or misplaced this email, please contact a member of the HR team. If you prefer to complete a paper pledge form, you can find them in the boxes outside of Jennifer Duncan or Christie Hawkins offices, or in the IPU breakrooms.
If you choose to pay by payroll deduction, the deductions will start on the first paycheck in January 2023.
Team members who pledge the “Caring Gift” or more, will receive 4 hours of PTO! You will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five $100 VISA gift cards! Those who pledge a “Caring Gift” will also be able to register for a chance to win a new car from Van York Auto Group and you will receive a member reward card which offers discounts to several area businesses.
Our organization believes giving is a personal pursuit, and giving through the United Way allows you to direct your dollars where you want them to go. Although our organization is a designations-only organization, you may designate your pledge to go to any particular agency, initiative or area. If you chose to designate to a particular agency you must designate a minimum of $100.00.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration in making a pledge to the United Way!
