We’ve been recognized…

May 18, 2022, by Jessica Crisp

A special announcement from our CEO:

Hello everyone!

It’s hard to fly under the radar when you do great things!  In fact, just as the title line says – we’ve been recognized!

In the coming days, we’ll be announcing that our organization has received a designation of Hospice Honors Elite by Healthcare First.  This designation is based on our patient and family satisfaction data from October, 2020 through September, 2021.   While 305 of hospice organizations were recognized by Healthcare First as Hospice Honors, only 66 of those organizations received the additional distinction of achieving Hospice Honors Elite – the highest possible recognition!  This puts us squarely in the top 22% of those hospice organizations recognized by Healthcare First.

The work you do each day and the relationship you with our patients, their families, and each other is truly what helps us achieve this important designation.  In determining the Hospice Honors designation, our organization’s satisfaction scores were evaluated based on 24 different measures contained in the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) hospice survey satisfaction measures.  In receiving the Hospice Honors designation, our organization scored above Healthcare First’s National Performance Score in 20 of the 24 different measures.  The additional elite designation; however, means our organization scored above the National Performance Score on each of the 24 measures!

In the coming days, we’ll be making this announcement to the public, but I wanted all our team members who made this recognition possible to know first!  In the coming days, we’ll be sending all our team members a small gift of appreciation in recognition of the hard work necessary to achieve this distinction!  Teaser alert – lunch treats on us are always yum-o!

My sincerest thanks to each of you for all the work you do each day and for all the incredible support you provide to our patients and their families!

Sincerely,

Trent
