Many people believe that hospice is a place to receive care, when actually, hospice care can be provided wherever someone calls home, in their private residence, assisted living facility, or skilled nursing facility, and when needed in a hospice inpatient unit.

About 90% of the individuals Hospice of the Piedmont cares for each year receive services in their home setting and are never admitted to our inpatient units, such as Hospice Home at High Point or the Randolph Hospice House.
