The Grief Counseling Center at Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph has helped thousands of local community members deal with the sadness and depression that can occur during and after the death of a loved one.

All services are offered free of charge.

Adults

Adults and families of hospice patients and community members are welcome to join us for individual or group grief support. All services are offered free of charge and are not limited to those with a family member or friend in hospice care.

Children

For children and adolescents under the age of 18, grief counseling includes short-term individual, family, and group counseling. Sessions take place in local schools, at our office and occasionally in the home setting. In addition, special workshops and other activities are scheduled throughout the year to provide education and support.

Grief Counseling Events

Support groups, led by the Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph bereavement team, provide a safe, supportive environment where concerns, fears, and questions can be discussed. Our grief support events are available to families of hospice patients, as well as anyone in the community who has suffered a loss.
