Your gift of financial support to Hospice of the Piedmont helps ensure no one is denied loving care and support because of the inability to pay. Your gift can help make quality end-of-life care possible for all who need it, regardless of their financial situation. Hospice of the Piedmont is a 501(c)( 3) charitable organization located in High Point, NC. Gifts are generally tax-deductible under IRS guidelines, but we suggest you contact your tax advisor to determine your specific situation.

Gifts support all of our programs, including the Grief Counseling Center, which is available to all, free of charge.
Types of gifts include:
General Gifts of Support
These can be made as a one-time gift, or as a pledge for a recurring gift.
Honorariums
Honorariums are a generous way to honor an individual and are often given to remember birthdays and other important life events. Honorees will be notified of the gift (without disclosing the gift amount) to let them know you have made a donation in their name.
Memorials
Memorials are a profoundly generous way to honor and acknowledge the death of a loved one. Memorials are made in the name of the deceased, and notification is sent to the designated family member, with no mention of the amount of the gift. If you are interested in a memorial brick, click here.
In-Kind Gifts
In-kind gifts are donated items that are used to meet special needs of those we care for, those who visit our inpatient facilities or those who participate in special programs. For an ongoing list of needed items, click here.
Planned Giving and Estate Gifts
Planned Giving is a way to remember Hospice of the Piedmont in your will or estate planning and can be an enduring gift of support. Gifts are often made as a designated cash amount in your will or can be offered as a gift of securities, insurance policies or other financial instruments. Ways to Give
Hospice of the Piedmont gratefully accepts cash, checks and credit cards. Depending upon your preference, you can do that in a number of ways.
Cash or Check
To download and print a form to accompany your gift of cash or check, click here, complete the form and mail it to us at 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
This form allows you to designate your gift as a one-time gift, a recurring gift or an honorarium or memorial.
Credit Card
Click here to access the form for making an online gift via credit card. You may designate credit card gifts as a one-time gift, a recurring gift or an honorarium or memorial.
United Way
Your donation to the United Way or your workplace giving campaign can be directed to us by designating Hospice of the Piedmont on your donation form. Hospice of the Piedmont is a partner agency of the United Way of Greater High Point.
Matching Gifts
Many employers provide matching gifts to support their employees’ charitable giving. This results in a larger gift than you would make on your own. To determine if your company has a matching gift program, contact your HR department. They will provide you with the guidelines for securing a gift match for Hospice of the Piedmont.
Securities
Hospice of the Piedmont is also able to accept gifts of stocks, annuities, insurance policies, trust disbursements, and other financial instruments. To make a gift of this type, please contact our Development Office at 336.889.8446.
