Join our team!
Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph are looking for individuals to join its volunteer team. With just an hour or two a week, you can visit with patients and their families and provide vital support to those who are facing a challenging season of life. Activities may include supportive phone calls and visits, providing respite for the caregiver, running errands, providing transportation, delivering meals or doing simple chores.
Renewing a commitment
In March 2020 due to COVID-19, the organization was forced to suspend volunteer visits and activities. As restrictions have eased, volunteers have begun to support patients and families again – connecting and serving on behalf of Hospice of the Piedmont and Hospice of Randolph. Currently, the greatest need is for volunteers who will visit with patients in their home settings. The organization is committed to supporting individuals and families, especially those who do not have adequate or consistent support. This is where you can make a difference!
