These meetings are optional, but highly encouraged, and Continuing Education (CE) credit will be provided for attendance. These meetings will be provided at both campuses throughout the year. After previewing the dates here, scroll down to sign up for your specific meeting.
Breakout Sessions By Role – These meetings of volunteers all serving the organization in the same role will be a great place to share in the joys and struggles of each unique volunteer position. A member of the VLC will help facilitate these conversations and allow for honest discussion and feedback among fellow volunteers.
- RHH Volunteers – April 14 @10am in Asheboro
- HHHP Volunteers – April 6 @ 10am in High Point
- Patient/Family Volunteers – April 21 @ 10am in High Point*
- Rounds/Aux chaplains/Pet therapy – May 12 in High Point*
- College Student Volunteers – TBD
Newly Trained Touch-ins – These meetings will provide newly trained volunteers an opportunity to touch-in with the team. These gatherings will be open to any volunteer who has trained in the current or previous year to talk best practices and unpack some of those questions that pop the first few first months in a new role. Practical, helpful and a great way to get to know newer volunteers who may have trained in another class, these will also be co-facilitated by a member of the VLC.
