This event is part of a monthly interactive therapeutic art therapy workshop series for adults who desire to explore creative ways to work through and express their grief.
Event Information
Grief is a complex concept that is difficult to understand due to its many moving parts. This workshop uses a “Jeopardy” format to increase understanding of the grieving process. Following the traditional game format, participants will explore categories like Myths vs. Facts, Types of Grief, and Coping Strategies. Responses will be a mixture of written and artistic expression, blending grief education with the therapeutic benefits of artmaking.
