A monthly interactive therapeutic art workshop for individuals who desire to explore creative ways to work through and express their grief. (This program also takes place on a monthly basis at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point. Click here to learn more.)
Body Mapping
Grief is known to stir up difficult emotions, but it can also manifest in physical ways. A body map is a technique used to help identify where we experience emotions within our bodies. Participants will learn to identify their emotions and use colors, shapes, and symbols to pinpoint them within a body outline.

Story Flowers
Telling your grief story can be a powerful statement for yourself and others. Using coffee filters and watercolors, participants will create flowers to symbolically hold names, memories, and special messages related to their loved ones. The idea is to transform what was lost and carry it forward in a new and transformative way.
